Transportation Safety Assessment
The staff of Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) employs user-friendly transportation safety and analysis resources to aid in all facets of transportation assessments. Capabilities include selection and design of appropriate packages, routing analyses (with graphically displayed routes and related information for rail, truck, and waterway modes), and calculation of transportation impacts. Transportation campaigns for specific materials can easily be analyzed, including identification and evaluation of optional approaches to reduce risk and costs.
